Hello to all.
I will try to catch all of you up on me and my little golf business...
Me - Spent the last two weeks traveling and moving in to my Louisvile apartment, "for the season."
I traveled to Pensacola, Florida to shoot a "golf show" for the Tourist Network. The day I returned to New Orleans, I packed for Lousiville and left the next morning for a two-day private school in Tampa, Florida. I returned at 11pm Monday night and left for Louisville with a full automobile at 7 am the next morning. My wife Lisa and I drove 770 miles to Louisville where we spent the next three days—all day—outfitting my Louisville apartment from scratch. All my former 'apartment furniture, etc.' was lost in Katrina. This "outfitting" included me and my wife moving a whole apartment full of new stuff (sofas, dining room table, etc.) up six fights of stairs to the third floor. I gave a couple of morning lessons each day this weekend and taught all day today from 10:30AM until 8:00PM.
This is all pretty normal stuff for me, guys and gals. I am trying to be #1 in the world at something, and right now, this means traveling like mad and having a bunch of irons in the fire. Here is an update on some of them:
Beta Videos - Shot last Spring and lost in Katrina, they were re-shot in Florida a few weeks ago. Unfortunately I was not happy with the camera speed, and I will not use that footage. too bad. So, I purchased my own professional-grade HD camera ($$$$) to "get it done right." They will be completed this spring in Louisville, where—unlike New Orleans right now—I have a place to shoot them. They will be exactly like I want them or I will continue to reshoot them until they are. "Beta Testers" who have the "Beta Versions" will recieve their promised commercial versions when complete. It should be noted that the three current Betas are worth every penny of the cost of the program.
New Forum and Website - All design work is done, a completely CUSTOM job. I have two outstanding guys on the job, and the person who has the job of "making it all work," is very busy right now, doing plenty of traveling. It will get completed as soon as possible and will be a huge upgrade all around.
Hogan Prints - Finished and shipping. A link for those who wish to purchase them will be 'up' this week. Previous orders are nearly completed, as several should have their prints—plus extras for the wait—by now.
I hope this 'update' will help those who feel like I never complete anything, and idea of why it sometimes takes a while and also to show that it always gets done—right.
