Manzella neutral grip

If I look at my Manzella neutral grip in the mirror with just the left hand on the club, should I be able to see a little of the butt of the club? I don't think so but just wanted to check.

Depends on the angle, but whole hand should be ON THE GRIP...not hanging off the butt cap like so many players do.

left heel pad on left hand

I had a question about the left heel pad on the left hand, for a right handed golfer. If a player held the club with a Brian Manzella neutral grip, without a glove, wouldn't the heel pad feel like it's being squished against the grip? The look I'm getting while gripping with the left hand is that the heel pad is being squished towards the thumb pad. Also, wouldn't that cause wrinkles? My daugther wants to give up the game just for that reason - a wrinkled heel pad.
