I begin this video by explaining why poor bunker players struggle out of the sand. I then explain and demonstrate how learning a basic square faced "Bread & Butter")technique and then progressing to different types of open-faced shots is the solution to both understanding and execution of shots out of the sand.

Even though I outline a strategy for bunker player improvement for the player who struggles with the shot, this video is by no means "Basic Technique" only. I show a variety of Professional style bunker shots using multiple techniques, from various lies, and for all distances.

SWEET.....please make sure to 'show off' a little bit too and could you PLEASE, pretty please, post up that short vid again of you in the mud bunker with a 7 iron? At least for a couple days so i can download it and save it?

I am looking for the little 7-iron clip and will either re-post it, or re-shoot it.

Also, along with "Over and Out," a chipping video short and a putting video short will be shot in the next couple of weeks and then they will be released as a "Short Game" DVD.

Well i'd like to add that brian forgot to "show off" a little bit in this video.

When we were basically done and started messing around in the short game area he decided to take my 3 iron, get on his knees, open the face until it was about parallel to the sand :-0 and was hitting 4 yard sand shots about 3-6 feet from the hole.
