Manzella's way to play a Draw

I have been reading the archieves and read how Manzella , Ben Doyle, and TGM advocate playing a draw.
What about the theory that I understood was TGM with closing the face to play a fade ( because of layback) and opening the face to play a draw (because of horizontal hingeing).
Can you make this more clear as I feel these concepts are polar opposites of each other.
I never tried Manzella's way but found it much easier to play a draw than the system I have been taught or used.

That sounds goofy to me.

wedgeplay.....I think it is about correcting (i.e. back to a STRAIGHT flight) the ballflight tendencies of Angled and Horizontal Hinging (respectively)...........with relation to ball position in stance.

The difference...

My way works.

Look folks, there is only two ways to hit this shot:

The ball starts 10 yards right and draws back to the target

1. You can AIM about 20 yards to the right and have the face about 10 yards to the right at separation.

OR....

2. You can aim someplace else and swing in a DIFFERENT DIRECTION than where you stand, to the same spot in "way" #1, and do some kind of hokey-pokey with the clubface and have IT at the same spot in #1.

You see, the ball only knows what the club is doing....

Where did I hear that before? :D
