May have found a problem?

OK, I was just hitting balls off my mat in my garage, just 1 handed swings, both left and right. When swinging just my left arm I had a difficult time striking the turf. I was trying to hit the turf to make sure I was hitting down. Out of 5 swings I would maybe hit the turf once. However when I switched to my right arm I hit the turf almost every time. I'm right handed btw. Should this be telling me something??????

Sounds like a lack of pivot and/or you are just more suited towards hitting.

How about too much axis tilt? Not sure just a guess

Either you are standing up a bit and moving the centre of your swing or you are flipping it a bit and shortening the radius. Focus on turning around the spine and keeping the hands quiet and see how you go!
