Measuring axis tilt

Brian,

I was wondering what you consider to be the most reliable way for accurately measuring axis tilt at impact. I've been drawing a line from the belt buckle to the neck and then measuring the size of that angle to the vertical. Any other ideas?

Thanks very much for any input, always much appreciated.

Hogan,
This is one thing you can assess purely mechanically..
At impact (from a face on view) the top of your left femur bone is vertically above your left foot....
Now if you consider that your swing center (7th cevical bone, or "between the shoulder blades") should always be in the same position, then logically, with the left femur being also at "the same place" each time, there is only one correct tilt angle each individual golfer will have depending upon their own physiology...
