That was mentioned on Michael's forum. If you go there and look at the pictures you will see what I mean. I would post them but don't know how. Anyway, Brian says in his videos that you always have this look of lean in a good pivot. That does not happen in Michaels pivot. I am not trying to be antoagonistic but I am confused. I struggle alot with my pivot and this just makes it more confusing. Is it that the pivot has to be customized for different players? Is there one perfect pivot?
As a generality:
If you are a slicer who has cured the face and can't stop pull hooking it you will have more lean to the right to help shallow out your angle of attack and fix your plane.
If you are a hooker looking to de-hook the hook a bit you will have less lean to the right and look more "centered."
what about just push fade?
I would think that you need to fix the face.
nope you'd turn a push fader into a push hooker lol
Generally push fader's are just hooker's who don't have a too closed face as many do. You fix the path first generally with a pusher/push fader
If you looked up pusher/push fader in the dictionary you would see: curtisj76. I "think" I push it so much because I'm afraid to release the club due to hooking the ball. I don't know, all I know is that I pushed the hell out of the ball today. Also, when I hit it the right way today, I bombed it. Well past guys that are much bigger than me.
What happens when you feel like you throw it from the top with the right hand?
Do you mean a throw like a "Tomasello throw" or are you talking about the "tumble" that's been talked about recently?
I just mean trying to feel you release it really early from the top with the right hand.
My coconut imagines a snap hook doing that. One of the best things for me would be the "toss" but I just never figured it out good enough.
For clarification, Brian does not teach a right leg straightening pivot, only to those who need to slant their hips to get more turn.
