Great swing, great footwork, pivot, and phenomenal tempo. She goes after it, swings hard, no pattycake for Mickey. I have a daughter learning to play, I would want her to be taught to swing like Mickey. Harvey Penick taught her, in one of his books he said he never touched her swing, only worked on the short game.

Ben Hogan said Wright had the best golf swing out there.

That's a tremendous accolade in itself.

Pre-accident Hogan, yes. Interesting fact: she moved to Dallas in the early '60's from her native San Diego to be near Hogan; joined Shady Oaks, as i understand it.
