Michael David Finney.
Call Ben Doyle one day at home, and order a video or a mat. While you have him on the phone, ask him this simple question:
If Mike Finney STILL wanted to devote himself to playing, is he good enough to play the PGA Tour.
"Well, sure!," will be the response.
Mike's golf game has been on a recent tear, as I witnessed today. He shot a 69 with a lost ball double-bogey on his last hole, and a 65 just a couple of days ago.
He ROUTINELY flew his driver 280+ and hit his irons very pure.
But—like any good teacher—I would like to take credit for the 20 YEARS I have begged him to return to the very conventional putting style of his youth (#9 ranked junior in the USA by Golf Digest in 1985), and got him to try more "mid-sole swinging" pitch shots.
I always KNEW he could play this well, and I'd be happy to caddie for him if he decides to really work on his game to get ready for some tournaments.
Since he is swinging so well, and he makes such a great move at it, I will be taking some real good HD footage of him to put up for all to see.
