Was watching the segment on long drivers earlier and was busy doing other things when somehow they merge into something with Frank Thomas and some guy with some golfer.

He has a problem with hitting the ball off the toe for the bulk of his career. I immediately thought OTT...but it didn't really look like it. Seemed more like an open clubface issue with a reverse pivot.

So instead of giving the guy a better grip and showing him how to pivot correctly, he tells him to stand up to the ball more and stand closer to accomodate it.

Gotta love it

Dear oh dear .. that's not even band aid that's full scale injury. Did that Frank KnuckleHead Thomas say that?

no...Frank was just there to "see" his equiptment and if he could help him get some more forgiving clubs that fit him.
