A faulty hip turn is really holding me back. I just don't get a good deep turn/pivot, resulting in weak slices. I have been looking at some of the pix on Redgoats site, in the backswing section, and looking @ Sergio's pivot and Hogan where the right hip really turns around to the ball (almost reverse pivot like). I have been trying this b ut have not had a lot of luck until I tried the move of Suzann Paterson (sp? from the Solheim Cup). If I moved it to the first position like she does and then concentrate on taking it to the top with a right hip turn like Hogan I really get in good position and was hitting it really solid (on the range.) Anyone have any insight on the good/bad of practicing this move? SHould I be trying something else. I have to figure out how to bring it on the course too.
Hope all is well Brian.
