A few weeks ago another thread was removed which I had started in good faith. When it was removed I did not understand why and frankly, no one was really saying why. Brian offered to talk to me about it and here's the basic reason which I think needs to be much more public.
There are folks that will sabotage the board.
Some of them aren't even realizing they're doing it. I understand both where they are comming from and how Brian has put a stop to it.
In my thread I mentioned something that I found success with, then was asked to post a video about it. The moment the thread turned to outside sources you can imagine what would have followed. Links to everywhere but Brian's material. We don't need to see Mike Austin, Jimmy Ballard, or Plummer & Bennett threads. This is the Italian Stalion's board and should rightly contain his material.
So please, when you reply to a post, keep in mind that even though you may have good intentions you may just bring down an entire thread because someone else will decide to plaster more advertising for their latest guru. I know we can't control other's behavior, but if you're wondering why a thread you start or reply to goes down, chances are it was about to wander down a path of outside advertising.
