My day with Brian

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of spending the day with Brian at my home golf course. We worked hard and had lots of fun. I would highly recommend doing this to anyone who has the chance. We played a round of golf and worked on my game and swing. Brian's stories were priceless - the Sam Sneed perspective story in particular! I won't elaborate any further.

In my own particular case, I was fighting a wild hook and basic video confirmed it as I was hanging on for dear life... I could feel it!!! Brian promptly taught me the "Never hook again" pattern and in four rounds since we got together, I have only hooked it when I was intentionally trying to draw the ball - although to be fair, I have pulled it a time or two :).

In all four rounds, I have struggled to contain how much the ball fades on the front nine only to recover nicely on the back nine. Good shots do not fly quite as far with longer clubs, but more predictable once I have hit a few shots. I think I am a just a hair too far above the shaft plane coming into the ball. I will probably buy the NSA 2.0 DVD and I will definitely get together with Brian the next time he is in Atlanta.

Thanks Brian and I look forward to seeing you again.

One day lessons.

I really enjoy these full day lessons.

When I work with David Toms on Tour, we always do whole days. I watch him warm up, make adjustments, walk the course, make adjustments, and then go to the range and really work out all the details.

At press time, my fee for this is $1200. If I am in town for a tour stop, this is great way to maximize your potential for learning and lowering your scores.

:)
