had a great time following Baddely, Harrington and Justin Leonard. These guys are good. I learned a lot yesterday. the one thing that struck me the most is that every pro sets up their hips parallel to the stance line, shoulders here and there but hips are always square. Second common characteristics was that nobody swings hard yet the ball goes a mile.Aron Baddely is a genuinely good person he was nice to everybody and very engaging. Padraig is a heck of an athlete and hits it a mile. Justin is a great player but his was considerably shorter off the tea than other two, his iron game was a bit off too. Charles Howell sets up to the ball like Ben teaches so i was pleased to see something familiar. Then there was Freddy C who is amazing player and people are crazy about him. Camera does not do any justice to Phill he is lean, the crowd around him goes into a frenzy every time he hits a good one. I only regret not being able to catch up to Elk and see some more Tgm action but the course is long and i was pretty tired. I had a great time and it was very valuable learning experience.

A couple of things i noticed when i went to my first top tier tournament (Johnnie Walker Classic) with the likes of Els, Garcia, Goosen, Scott etc..

1 - long game most don't hit the ball as straight as some assume and play some sort of draw / hook or prenounced fade (even on straight holes)

2 - inside 100m these guys are unbelievably accurate and get up and down from anywhere

3 - the sound of compression is nothing like i had ever heard.. you could hear the ground seriously shaking when players were teeing off on a par 3. the amount of 'sizzle' as the ball took off was also unbelievable !!!
