My general miss

You've all seen my swing I'm sure. But I consistently have a miss that I actually play. It's a true fade starts at my target and fades right.

Now in my swing you can see the clubface on my forward swing is generally closed which seems very odd. I have been doing a lot of work to eliminate the 3rd Accumulator, but I've always had a shut face and steep forward swing.

I've tried working on a pitched right elbow, but that generally causes huge push fades that I cannot predict.

When I do let my arms roll (3rd accumulator) I actually tend to get much more of a slice that starts well left of the target and goes far right of it.

Now when I change the way I'm bringing the club into impact, I have found success. I can straighten out my shot very very well when I focus on bringing the club in more horizontally to the ball. That is to say, keep my hands closer to my body and the clubhead out away from me... then support this "sideways" motion with a strong 1st Accumulator to my First Pressure Point.

But this really does not feel powerful and I have noticed a drop in distance.

I believe this is because I'm used to more of a swinging proceedure using the 4th accumulator more than the 1st. So it doesn't feel as powerful and I'm not using my pivot as much as I used to. So when I try to "rev up" the swing and make it go quicker, my misses come back with fades to the right.

Any ideas how I can reconcile the "right way" to do it with the feeling of a powerful swing again?
