What do you think? I'll post the face on view next...

Thanks!

Two things I see -

1) I'm not making a full turn - I'm cheating by lifting my arms instead of continuing to rotate shoulders on the backswing

2) Slightly layed off on the DL view

In my opinion you could work on the alignment of the top half of your body with the legs, trunk too far right at the top of backswing. Need to get your left ear further to your left, too big an angle between the left hip and the left shoulder at the top of the backswing and in the start down, lower body gives the impression of being too far in front of the trunk, possibly causing too much axis tilt and hitting too far from the inside. Don't know what your misses are. You could also think about you shoulder plane in the backswing, too flat.

Hope this helps.

Not sure what exactly you're saying with the first part of your analysis, but I know the guy and he definitely doesn't hit from the inside too much or swing to right field. In fact, I'd say the opposite would be the case.

No offense meant to your analysis, just clarifying what's going on.

Holeout,

No offense taken. In the face-on shot the trunk looks too far left in relation to the legs. If you hold a ruler or a piece of paper in line with the left hip, the space between the hip and the left shoulder is considerable, this is accentuated in the transition as the left hip moves targetward leaving the trunk a bit behind. This potentially creates too much axis tilt too early and for that reason I guessed misses right or little pulls or pull draws, rescuing the shot with the hands. That's why I commented on getting the left ear more over the ball at the end of the backswing thus aligning lower and upper bodies better.

Hope this helps
