A friend has just told me that at a golf club somewhere in the north of England one of the members is a dwarf - known as Ernie Elf.
He sounds like a good man.
Apparently, he recently went into the clubhouse and declared, "you should have seen my drive on the 14th, it went 348 yards".
"348 yards?" said his friends, disbelieving.
"Yup," he said "348 yards - paced it out myself".
