My father and I met Brian a couple of days ago for a lesson in Baton Rouge. Let me begin by saying that we have both been playing golf for many years, and as a result have visited with many instructors along the way (local guys and even a Golf Digest top 100). My father is 65 years old and has never, ever hit a draw - weak slice or push. By the end of the lesson he was hitting a solid draw along with 30-40 additional yards. Brian diagnosed the problem after two swings and corrected the problem in thirty minutes. My problem was a little more complex but again, two swings and forty-five minutes later I was on my way to better ball striking.
Brian met us on the range immediately after his plane had landed. My initial thought was "great, he is going to be tired and uninterested in teaching today". I can't tell you just how wrong I was. Brian is a very personable instructor who really wants to correct the problem before the end of the lesson. The biggest difference between Brian and other teachers is that Brian knows how to get his message across. Prior instructors have told us what we needed to do to correct our problems, but Brian is the only instructor who showed us how to do it.
Thanks again for your help.
