Natural Tendencies

Even with raw or pretty raw beginners...slicers...etc...

Do you very often see strong tendencies that you know that golfer likely will be able to stick with well down the road...things you and they can really work with?

Or is there a point where those tend to become more visible?

I was thinking about things I have always done...I think there are a few.

(usable I mean)

Of course there are. Everyone is different so everyone brings something new to the table. Even when I first started I hit a draw, and I could hit a hook with no problem at all... I still do/can. Not everyone can do that easily. I have to put some conscious effort to leaving the club face a little open to hit a fade some people can do it all day long without thinking about it. Makes it pretty simple as to why method teaching for every person that comes through the door seems to be... flawed.

As far as a point where those tendencies become more visible that would have to be when the player can make semi-consistent contact with the ball. Toe hooks and shanks aren't exactly "usable" in an everyday round of golf.
