We are very excited here at the Brian Manzella Golf Academy to announce the addition of our newest Staff Instructor:

Jon Hardesty

Jon, who has gone by the screen name libro on the forum for the past couple of years, is the 1st Assistant Professional at the Owl Creek Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky, where he works under Brian Manzella Academy Senior Instructor Michael Finney.

Jon took the position with Mike two seasons ago to both further his status with the PGA, and also to upgrade his teaching by studying under Mike and myself.

He has done both.

Born and raised in Shelbyville, Kentucky, Jon started playing golf at age 8, and played on the Golden Bear Tour (mini-tour) in Florida in 2004.

He worked at the Shelbyville C.C. from age 14 to 27, where he fired a low round of 63!

Jon is an avid collector of golf books with over 400 in personal library. He is a rabid golf biomechanics and golf physics enthusiast, and is Titleist TPI Level 1 Certified.

A physical fitness devotee, Jon's loads of knowledge in golf fitness & physical performance is second to none in our organization, and his voracious study of sports psychology, golf psychology, and club fitting make him a well-rounded addition to our peeerless staff.

Jon joins myself, Michael Finney, Tom Bartlett, Chris Hamburger, Michael Jacobs, Damon Lucas, Kevin Shields, Steve Khatib, Jim Kobylinski and Ryan Smither, as we try our best to further the cause of golf instruction and better golf for all.

Congrats to all Manzella academy instructors. Jon will be a fabulous addition, an interest in biomechanics is great, that's what I'm really interested in as well. Having someone around that has a passion for that will be a great asset to the Manzella instructor pallet. Brian you're one smart cookie getting all of this young talent. Those of us on the forum and the ones that study privately with these guys are truly blessed

Congrats , sounds like we won't have to wait for Brian's short stops to L-Ville to get quality instruction with Mike and Jon at the Owl :>)
