NSA Must Be The Most Underrated Swing Of All Time

I am just figuring out how good it is for draws...through the bag.

Who would think adding full roll to twistaway would help a hook.

As if rolling it MORE makes me draw it LESS...

Man...

I may be using a little less inside hand path than in the video (backswing and downswing) but...

The roll tends to keep the left wrist from bending thru impact, which is why it clears up the hook. It is amazing how important the full roll finish, put the club on the movie screen is to the swing. It has easily taken my game to a different level. Still a work in progress, but I outdrove a scratch player the other day, when he hit a really solid draw off the tee. When I get the wedding ring up swivel that Brian taught me correct, the quality of my shots are amazing. Sometimes I think it makes sense in practicing without a ball to start at the finish and move backwards. It really is that important and has quieted my roundhousing significantly.

I agree on it's importance...100%...

But I am not sure I was hooking it (mostly with the driver) because of leakage.

I could very well be wrong Roger.

Maybe the Manz or a MGA guy can make some sense of this.

It doesn't mean you were flipping. If you are preparing to have an arched wrist in the swivel, it is likely you will have more of an arched wrist at impact. All things being equal, more arch at impact will give you a more open face. So you might have went from a flat wrist at impact (before adding wedding ring up) to an arched wrist at impact (after adding wedding ring up).

Preparing to go wedding ring up can also move the path left, which would also help a hook.

All I know is it works. When I do not go wedding ring up, I hook the heck out of it. I now have two drives, the low hook and the well struck draw. They are even, hopefully the latter will gain.

My guess is that its making you rotate the left arm wedge more. This is probably improving the path and VSP. Is your finish becoming more "high hands-low club"?

You know what...I am not sure...!

Will have to check that.

I know it sometimes feels like I am hoisting the club and ball up into the air more with my arms and less with my wrists...I guess that sounds like it fits doesn't it...?

Hmmm I will check that Brad.

Great (*cough* BEST...) video for slicers...

...and as it turns out (the point of this thread)...

...non-slicers too!! (a guy- me- struggling with hooking when trying to draw)

Very wide range of players! I am not sure this is widely understood, even on this forum...

...

Still excited this thing has me hooking it LESS...
