NSA Swing Help

Hello

I am getting back into golf after a break. I have had mixed results over the past two month, so I reviewed the NSA 2.0 pattern video. This pattern fixed my slice years ago!!

I went to the range and noticed an immediate increase in distance with my irons. I still missed some shots right but not very bad. If I did too much twistaway I could easily hook the ball.

It was an adjustment going to the neutral grip, as I have moved to a stronger grip over the past year. I also tried to keep the grip at a 90 degree angle to my last three fingers.

Here are two swings from yesterday. The first (push slice) is earlier in the practice session, and the second (straight) was the last shot.

It appears to me I have very little hip turn. I have battled a flat swing with little hip turn for a long time!

Does anyone have a drill for more hip turn?

I also have the softdraw pattern if that would be a better pattern for me.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Also can I post this on Golfwiseguys or are most of the members on both forums??

Kirk doesn't look like he lays it down at all. In fact it looks like it is steeper coming down. This is laying down, and hopefully Shields sees this so he can crank one out:

"I've made my share of ups and downs, bumpy putts in heavy winds. That's what made me the legend I am today. Now I stand here before you. What you see is a swing crafted to perfection. A hair part engineered to defy the laws of physics... and a mindset to master the most epic of lay downs."

They only used Van Damme because Faldo kept tipping the trucks over...

I wonder what was harder - having frozen pants or doing the splits between two trucks.;)
