For example, The Vortex Bar & Grill located in Atlanta, Ga. is one of Ciancio’s favorite burger joints, and although it’s not a must visit on our list, you should consider dining there if you want to take your burger to the “extreme.” “They have a burger that’s served with bacon and eggs between two grilled cheese sandwiches,” Ciancio says. “And they have a burger called the ‘Elvis’, which is a burger with bacon, peanut butter, bananas, and an egg.” Who’s hungry?

The source of mgranato's awesome length revealed at last.

"My girlfriend's a vegetarian, which pretty much makes me a vegetarian......but I do love a tasty burger."

The Vortex is pretty good, but if I'm only allowed one more burger, I'm pulling into a What-a-burger.

Technically, the burgers just help to build a stabile base. The blood pressure medication for the base helps with the length.

Consistency counts, In and Out. Because that's what a burger is all about!

Living on the East Coast has many benefits...In and Out franchises...no bueno;(

Will be hitting as many as I can on a little vacation to San Diego as we speak! (glad I brought the blood pressure and cholesterol meds!)

I didn't think White Castle was a favorite until I moved from Chicago to Las Vegas 15 years ago. There are no White Castles west of the Mississippi. I miss my "Sliders".

On the West Coast it would have to be In & Out!!!!

When I worked in Cleveland, there was a bar named Herb's. The "Herb Burger" was the best! Don't know if they are still around as I have been gone from Cleveland for many years now. LumBurger from Lums was awesome as well! Any Lums still operating?
