sometimes i feel like he's like mike tyson.
I suppose ear biting and an sexy eye tattoo is the likely progression.
I've played with John and he is a good dude and phenomenal talent. I too think his path is to a bad place. People love(d) him. His antics are getting old. I'd rather he be in the press for shooting 65 everyday rather than sleeping with his eyes open in front of a Hooters.
I wonder what all the TPI guys think of that bod...

I'm going to the certification seminar this weekend. Maybe he'll be a case study...
EDIT: Actually, on a (somewhat) serious note, I've heard Dr. Greg Rose (TPI) say that John Daly is/was in good golf shape since his stability and range of motion are very good. Unfortunately for JD, everyday health has little to do with those.

The reason TPI said that is they don’t understand how the body moves balanced weight (Sweet Spot).
I have a friend who is a sifu and is flexible and strong. He is a beginning golfer and if he swings the sweet spot in balance he looks like a pro golfer and makes solid impact. If he swings the sweet spot out of balance he looks like a week end golfer and has even whiffed a driver on the tee.
When I teach left hand golfers I use to have a hard time making a left hand swing as I never practiced it. Now I can make a left hand swing and I can hit the ball well if I swing the sweet spot in balance. All I changed was the sweet spot balance.
I was always told I did not have enough flexibility to make a full back swing from TPI. Now swinging the sweet spot in balance if I want I can make a full back swing and I can get my hands as high as any tour pro.
I hope they give you a money back guarantee.

Like anything else, I'll pay attention, listen, and filter out what I feel is appropriate to do so. Some of the information will be great, some of it will probably be wrong. Being able to filter information is an important skill as a teacher in the golf industry.
have we ever gotten an explanation to this "sweet spot balance?"
if so i missed it...
You will learn valuable information spend less money without filling TPI pockets with lots of your hard earned cash.
I was lucky to lean about TPI before they charged big bucks to pass on their information. What they are doing has been tried by Body Balance and others years before and has failed. If you want to learn more about how the body works go to NASM - Personal Training Certification, Become a Personal Trainer and get certified by them or get a copy of Muscle Mechanics by Everett Aaberg and Super Slow by Ken Hutchins.
