OMG R11 dilemma

So I was doing 6 and 4 grams on the R11 head and it was going buckwild!!

I put in 6 and 10 grams and the difference is night a day!

Weird.

I thought the head should be light, but I guess it should be heavier so it gets that hammer effect

seriously tho, i tried the titleist D3, it feels much better than the R11

i don't think the it's the shaft.

hell my R7 is better than R11

Couple buddies of mine are going to town on their old drivers with white paint rattle cans. One of mine has a WHITE DIABLO OCTANE. The finish is so great! No glare! No hot spots!

It's weird how seemingly everyone on Tour is using the R11 though. Do you have a different shaft or anything or is it the junk it comes with?

Ya, I demoed the R11 with a Whiteboard and it didn't work for me either.

The only shaft that was OK was the fubuki....even the kai'li was meh

Is that what it is? I just see white and assume it's the R11.

Yea they are white too. I personally have owned both and definitely prefer the superfast. But I also had the titleist 910 and it felt just like the r11 to me. Must be the adjustable shaft drivers, I hate them. The shaft never feels like it supports the head.

Close... but I do carry two 'drivers'.... a 10.5º, 400cc driver and a 12º, 320cc driver or 2-wood and then I go to a 4 wood..

Why would I carry two 'drivers' and no 3 wood..

I heard it through the grapevine that lots of the Tour players are painting their R9s white. I find the r9 much better, too.

I had a TM SuperTri that I loved. My son accidently broke it, so I had to get a new driver. I tried the R11 and simply hated it. Tried a couple Pings, didn't hit that well either though. Liked the 910D2, but 400.00?? Found a new Super Tri on line for 130.00, bingo! Hitting the ball well again. Amazing what the right feeling golf club does for your swing.
