One For Brian.Teaching Juniors

My niece is 12 has just started to play. She is taking an 8 lesson course at a local club but i would like to help her after the lessons have stopped.

Brian, what is your philosophy with juniors? Do you look to ingrain technique early on or is it more about having fun at 12 years of age?

I love kids.

1. Take 'em to the range, give 'em a club, show 'em where to stand, and let them hit it.

2. IF THEY LIKE it (#1), get them some help. (You are).

3. Take them to the course, see if they like it.

4. If they do, spend PLENTY OF TIME putting, chipping etc in practice.

4. If they still like it, come see me.
