Very nice swing.

I'll leave the swing suggestions to the pros but do wonder, do you play a fade? handicap?

For whatever its worth, here's my opinion. Strong grip, less open face for a good reason. I think your vertical backswing with a little lean left doesnt put you in a position to make a strong move downplane (you havent "reached" the plane). Therefore your lower body slides out from underneath you as a back up, and maybe release a little early to find the inside , or even just the back of the ball. This move for most will open the face so I think you've discovered this and have employed some face closing downswing moves. Prob too many because the thruswing swivel is a little muffled.

I think you can either lower your arms at the top or start getting behind the ball to start with and see which is more comfortable and go from there.

So maybe even have a tendency to swing a little left, maybe play a hold-on cut/fade and and sometimes work under at impact and maybe don't leave yourself a way to release aggressively, toe-down through the ball?

I saw some of the parts but you saw the whole pattern Kevin. Your good, really good.

So here is my two cents..Holber19

It looks like you are fighting the start to your swing.
Set up with your tail bone slightly more to the left and your neck bone more tilted to the right, slightly.

Now let the left shoulder, keep moving to the right and down slightly as you swing back. I think this will aid in getting to the plane at the top.

Think about having all of your lines, especially hips and shoulders parallel to the target line at set-up get a more neutral grip, but especially in the right hand. Cheers.

I must admit that I have struggled pretty massively with the first part of the backswing until the shaft is parallel to the ground. Besides that I still find it hard to find the "right start".

I find it really hard to understand golf-lingo but im really trying!

Strong grip. Definately.

So what ur saying is that I should swing more "around" instead of "up"?

By "muffled" thrugh swing you indicate that my through swing is strongly going left after impact because my hands are "flipping" too much (and too quick)? And that is why I sometimes heavily hook the ball?

I think you understand Kevin's advice spot on, now..

By allowing the left shoulder to continue going more to the right and..slightly down should encourage a deeper motion of the arms, hands and club going back to reach the plane which should encourage the downswing to enable the club to find more of the inside/back of the ball.

Not necessarily more around, just better backswing pivot.

By muffled, i mean your clubface is closing nicely on the way down but because you were forced to release it early, well, that spells trouble. You kind of hang on to avoid hooking but sometimes its too late.

We have to find out what you would do if all you did was improve your backswing pivot. The other changes would fall into place from there
