Great Forum!
I would like to get some opinions on Dante's book (4 Magic Moves ). Between Brian's "twistaway" and Dante's magic moves, I'm striking my irons better than ever. Although I'm still not hearing the sound of compression I long for, distance has increased - 7 iron a little over 160 as opposed to 150. I haven't practiced with the woods yet.
With this pattern I feel like my hip move is HUGE! Definately not 2 inches. If I don't keep them moving, I get slack in the pivot train.
The book recommends a "tight" grip which may not be a good idea for us hacks. Also, I don't understand "hand lag" as described in the book, but otherwise in seems like a easy pattern to learn.
Appreciate all thoughts and opinions.
Thanks,
Ben
