Overacceleration. Does it really exist?

Brian: I recall some posts some time ago on Mac O'Grady and MORAD where you said O'Grady fashioned his sweep loading swing to deal with his overacceleration problem. You also said this swing was the blueprint Leadbetter used for his swing. Provided the feeling of lag which is felt at the top is maintained and dragged/driven past impact without interuption I can not see how you can overaccelerate as if anything you would increase lag. I can see how a burst of acceleration at the top if not sustained could lead to the club being thrown off the trail index finger leading to throwaway which would lose lag. Is this what you mean by overacceleration? Provided lag is sustained you can accelerate as hard as you want. Am I correct here?

I believe so, as long as it's not beyond your expectations.
