Overactive hip slide

I'm trying to calm down a too aggresive hip move towards the target on the downstroke with my driver. Seems like it has gotten a bit more extreme over time so i'm looking for a drill that may help me to really feel the difference of not lurching towards the target from the top.

Any drills or thoughts to try at the range?

I've tried hitting some shots while standing on a dowel which helps somewhat.

Pull (or push) against lag radially with your upper body, instead of sliding (or bumping) without lag laterally with your lower body.
