I realize this is not a swing topic but I had to share.
I am watching the Open coverage and as a Huge Tom Watson fan I feel like I am 10 years old again! Anyway, as I am watching the talking heads try to say something clever along comes Paul Azinger with one of the dumbest comments ever "Tom is in the position he wants to be in after 3 rounds of the Open", Duh? doesn't every player want to be in the lead?
is there a player that "wants" to be a few shots back?
While I realize all the bobble heads like to think someone is more comfortable coming from behind, trust me.....every proffesional who is not insane wants to be out front as far as they can get.
great observation Paul.
