If nothing else, the thread gives me a chance to brag on the two Kentuckians finishing in the top five. 
Pebble Beach in HD helps make up a little for a snowy winter.
The blow-ups on 14 were unreal. I wonder if that green shouldn't be changed some -- on tv it looks like there there's about a 2-3 yard landing area and if you miss short or long, you can easily end up with a snowman. Seems a little goofy golfish to me.
It's good to see Duval continue to claw his way back to being competitive after totally losing his game.
Dustin Johnson may win a serious pile of money this year.

14 is going to be real interesting come US open time, that could be a hole that takes some guys right out of the tournament, especially with the greens hard and fast.
I was rooting hard for Duval, man I wanted to see him win.
Dustin Johnson is a stud, he is going to win a lot of tournaments in his career I wouldn't be surprised to see him win a major this year. The guy hits it a mile and he also has a great putting stroke. He will be a top ten player in the world for along time.

14 at Pebble is probably one of the hardest golf holes I've ever played. That hole started a bogey string for me, 4 out of the last 5 (my only defense is that we played in the dark!!!). I hit driver then decided to hit 5-iron to a good wedge distance based on my distance to the pin. Little did I know that up the hill my 5-iron was only going to go 165 yards which left me with about 140. I thought I would take plenty of club up the hill after the last shot so I pulled 7-iron which is about 178 yds. Needless to say I came up short and if your short with the pin just over the hill on the left you might as well add 3 or 4 shots and pick up. Number 14 is a definite tournament changer. The good thing is the view from 14 tee is priceless
