Im not sure it was THAT big a mistake. Every body is going to miss a couple of fairways, its just he seems to do it more often when it matters most.

I saw him totally ripping it on friday, and he hit 13/14 fairways yesterday (saturday) whilst still bringing the driver out a lot.

The one that surprised me more was his pitch onto the green from 25 or so yards which took a few bounces over the flag and rolled into the fringe. Very unlike him.

I'm a Big Fan of Phils.. His Driving, Pitching, course Management were awful. He was all over the place.


His Putting kept him in it..

He had three days of great Golf, Saturday was a great day for him.

Just seems to get a bit erratic when the pressure is on.

Yes it wasn't a Major, but $1 million Dollar first prize doesn't get ignored...

I just hope he doesn't do the same this week at Carnoustie.
