pitch elbow?

Could someone please explain what "pitch elbow" means, and why it's called "pitch"? I missed that one. Thanks.

Yes, right elbow is past the ball before/at impact. Right forearm is UP. Right elbow is near or close to left elbow.

I always thought pitch meant elbow in front of right hip as opposed to the side.....

Well....if you are ELBOW-HANDS-CLUB, ala Pitch, you will tend to be "in front of right hip."

Unless....

Your hips are way open. Then PITCH will look like PUNCH, which is more HANDS-ELBOW-CLUB.

This is what confused Hardy about Hogan.

You make a great point.....but, per the TGM we know.....
