Pivot use.....

I just got the video last week and I have to say I'm really impressed with the simple drills. I've been working about an hour a day on my impact. I record myself every time. I take about 3 practice swings. I tried using my body pivot to swing through but it feels very constricting, I also naturally slide my pivot towards the ball. When I try to swing my pivot to square the club face, it feels very stiff and not fluid at all. I'm thinking I'm too stocky to do it right. I'm 5' 11" 245 lbs with very wide shoulders:( . Well, let me know if you have any recommendations?

Thanks!

Pivot use.

"Hit it with your pivot."

What does that really mean?

It means learning to create "THROWOUT ACTION."

How?

Ben Doyle special: Make a divot. Pick it up. Grip it about half-way down. Make a motion and try to break the divot in the middle, by turning toward the center.

Grab a club and try to duplicate.

Don't worry about the pivot squaring up the clubface. Just turn the back off your left hand down through impact, while you SNAP it.

IMO: Literally take a big divot out of the ground. Pick up that divot that you made (nice wet bent grass is great!) Learn how to let the pivot (throw out motion of the pivot) pull the divot apart by its own forces...

Those forces will leave some of the divot in your hands and some will fly out of your hands.....
