Can someone please help me find a driver head that is:

  1. Under 420cc (the best would be 390cc)
  2. Relatively heavier than a "normal" driver head
  3. Has a "at the COR limit" clubface

Cheers!

you may check with some of the better component heads that can be handpicked. not sure about exact size, but the SMT Nemesis is 370cc i think. and i'm sure you can ask for a heavier weight. the smt shinnecock is 360cc. AT 420cc the (smt)HP420 may be an option.
I hope this helps.

Nakashima HTEC driver head...i believe their older versions weren't 460cc. Find a dealer and have them hand pick you one for loft; face angle is adjustable. Also, have them weigh down the head with rat glue to whatever you want.

There's some buzz about Nike and a smaller "tour" version of the Dymo, not sure if it'll happen.

What about Bridgestone? Thought they had some smaller driver heads.

Maybe Titleist 975D as well.

The new Bridgestones are all huge. The 975D definitely does not have thin face! Can't wait to try the small Dymo

There's a 460 & a 420cc version of the Bridgestone J33r.
Iirc, the J33p is 375cc, and the smaller heads, the 420 & 375, are more popular with the Bridgestone staffers who play their drivers.

Bridgestone drivers, imho, feel fantastic but are not very forgiving.

I know it's 5cc over you limit but the R7 425 is an excellent head and you can add or remove as much weight as you want. These heads don't look as big to me either because they have a little taller face than most.

It's still a Titleist 983E for me...great shape and feel, and right there at the .83 limit.
The R510 TP is a good stick too, but still looks *too* big to me, (390cc for the TaylorMade, 350cc for the Titleist).

Tough to find a 'smaller' head now, I wish I could swing the bigger sticks as well, great technology, but I have difficulty getting comfortable with them.

Best of luck.

If you can find one, the TM R510 TP is 390cc and I think the COR is close to the limit.

I'll second this recommendation. Still a great head. A very underrated head IMHO is the Cleveland Launcher 400 (400cc). You can still find either of these on Ebay.
