I hate to admit it....but I never thought of that before.
You're right- you'd have to think that Tiger is smarter than that....I mean...he is THE LAST guy, now that I think about it, who would take off when he still has a chance to win.
That's what Tiger is all about: squeezing the last drop. "You always have a chance."

BTW I heard that at Whistling Straights last year (I was there BTW), Tiger just picked out a house to stay at and went to the door and offered the family however much money to leave for a week while he stayed at their house.
Just a rumor but who knows eh? Dude's got cash to throw around....and he's prolly more recognizeable than the pope.
