Post Your Swing Video

I hear a lot of people talking but I don't see anybody swinging. Everybody has video access these days so there's not much stopping us from posting it here. A picture is worth a thousand words, what's a video worth, a billion. Let's see some swings.

Nice!!

BH3,

I like your swing very much...at first I thought it was Nick Faldo...looks to be similar in build.

Are you hitting or swinging? Your face looks like a hitters in the takeaway. You are on plane, to me, on the backswing and downswing.

Tempo is really nice...I bet you are a single digit handicap! Am I right?

I'm getting my camera for Chistmas and V1 software, so I will post mine in the near future...Nice job being the first out of the gate!

G2M & bh3, both of you have really nice swings

bh3, super impact alignments, a very nice flw

G2M, I like your accumulator lag, very nice

I assume both of you are pretty good players.

Thanks for the comments

Trane,
Thanks for the Faldo comparison but I'm only 5'9", I'm swinging but I have been working on keeping the club outside my hands on the takeaway, which I think is a hitter's move? I was a single digit before the new baby came along. I've had a few lessons with Ron Gring and we worked on a FLW and sequencing.

Nope, no Gary Edwin

hue --

I like your swing. Looks like it may have some Gary Edwin influence, yes?

Thanks RWH, but no Gary Edwin here...can't say I really know anything about his stuff, what would you say he teaches?

Actually, I have been working a bit with Hogan1953 from this forum (James Marshall) and I have been working a lot to get my backswing on plane and then get some float loading in the transition. I have some swings from November that are a bit better than these, but I haven't posted them on YouTube yet. At this point I am working on getting my right elbow in a deeper pitch position (it still has a tendency to fly a bit and then stay at my side) and still working on the float loading, hoping to achieve more of a snap release.

Brian's teaching (only through his website and video) has been very influential as well...I wish I had some "before" footage of my old flipper move.

Also, one thing to clarify....there is a Hue (John Hue) who posts on this board, and I am not him. I'm actually Clay Huestis (huestisc) and I'm not nearly the golfer the "real" Hue is (yet!)

Don't know that much about the specifics of Gary Edwin's teaching, either, other than he's an Aussie; I just thought your swing looked like some of Edwin's students (Paul Gow, for example). Anyway, you and Mr. Hogan1953 are doing good. Keep it up!
