Posture relating to plane

I have been struggling between using a right forearm pickup which usually results in zero pivot to a flat shoulder plane takeaway which is too below the plane. I do stand upright to the ball and the ball is very close which when I look down I can not use that pivot and come down on the ball which turns out true. I can see I have to drop my right shoulder and head dramatically to get down to the ball.I even tried the the handle first takeaway and it was like I was pulling a 100 pound weight and well it worked It seemed to be ruining my back and I checked it on video it was like a very upright wide backswing and I felt the coil feeling some people described where the club snapped through the ball. I don't think I could play golf this way without a lot more strength and flexiblity. When I accidentlly turn my shoulders properly I get as much distance without any of that effort. I am really fighting that arms go up versus the shoulders around concept.

The question is do I have to learn to bend over more and get as much axis tilt at address as possible to get more of that baseball feeling swing with my left shoulder getting behind the ball on the backswing. Remember in my case my lower body motion is minimal in both directions.

By the way my shot pattern is a push to the right unless I use the flat backswing concept.I can strenthen the grip and I can get it to draw a little back but it is still very right. My good shots are when I sucessfully pivoted so the my belly button is facing the the target at finish. Its almost like My pivot controls my clubface.

Any ideas on how to work the problem. The laser system I have tried but that is a slow swing ( no true dynamics) with out hitting a ball taking a divot etc. so it can be fudged and does not really duplicate a real swing.

Any way ideas?

Dave
