Power advantages of plane shifts?

Brian: Are there any power advantages in choosing one customised plane option over another eg will you tend to be longer with a double shift swing than a single shift swing?

I don't think the plane shift, in itself, provides any added power, but it seems the more #3 accumulator angle you have, the more shift you are likely to need to get that right forearm on plane.

The STRAIGHTER line you take to the ball, the more SNAP you are likely to have.

By dropping the shaft to a flatter plane, the redirected clubhead increases lag.

Just when I thought that the application of angular momentum against the inertia of the clubhead caused a stressed shaft (lag) you go and confuse me.

Can you elucidate, Joe, on how a simple plane shift, in itself, generates angular momentum and initiates lag?
