Practice station advice

Brian and others:

I was wondering what you might suggest for a good range practice station. I typically place a shaft down parallel to the target line for an alignment aid. I know you have suggested making a plane type device out of a towel. I have a old shaft that I can use. How might you suggest is the best way to use it. I spend a fair amount of time on the practice range, and I want to ensure that I practice well.

Thanks for the help,

Terry

I always use two shafts. One along the target line and one along where my feet are aiming. I think by doing that, you have to set up to each shot just as if it were on the course. Do your routine, select a target, settle in and then hit the ball. Not just a rapid fire session of banging balls without a purpose.
