Brian,
Do you have any suggestions on how people should set up their practice area when hitting balls? I put down a club for alignment, but that is about it. Should we do anything else?

I get a couple sticks- driveway posts work well, and set them up the standard "T" to monitor alignment, ball position and to check where my divots begin and end.

If I use an alignment club or stick, I put it under my eye line.

But I have several drills and trick for practice, so maybe that would be a good video.

yeah, a video on how to practice putting, chipping, hitting etc would be absolutely wonderful. I've run out of fun options anyway

It really depends on WHAT you are practicing. Do you want to work on your clubface control? Plane line control? Distance? Etc etc, each can have a different way to setup to practice.

All of the above would be great. Do not have a ton of time to practice so looking for methods to make most of the time I do have.

Jim,

I practice every day. Some days, I just pretend to hit chips, using the chip/pitch without balls in a bunker with a line drawn the length of the bunker for a half hour or so, then follow it up with real chips in the bunker. This is to monitor my left wrist and where the divot begins and ends.
I will do the same drill with pitch shots in a bunker.

I putt through a 3" gate (100 at a time) from six feet, keeping track of how many go through the gate. Then I follow it up putting over a quarter from 5 feet trying to roll each ball over the quarter.

I set up with a "T", just in front of my feet and practice half shots, monitoring my position at the top, my alignment and my divot (I need a lot of work of that one). I move to punch shots doing the same thing, and finally full swing.
Sometimes, I just practice full swings in a fairway bunker to force myself to make better contact- a compressed shot from a fairway bunker is really the result I'm looking for IN THE FAIRWAY! All of these are done towards a target.

I honestly have no idea what clubface control means and don't know how to practice it. I know what Plane line control is, but have no clue how to practice it. Any suggestions for each?

I think a practice primer would be pretty cool Brian. I think practice should be split into different levels and what you do depends on your ability. For example let's say your practicing impact hands. Let's say you have 12 drills at your disposal. Drill 1 would be for a beginner and would be the easiest and drill 12 is for a tour pro or better. Think of like weight lifting, to get better you put more weight on the bar (I know this is a simplification to a degree). In the drills you would move up to the next level once you mastered the previous level, so basically like adding more weight.
