The game of golf should not be that difficult. The goal is to hit 18 consecutive tee shots dead straight. Then 18 fairway shots dead straight. Guys don't you think this is possible?
At least it is something to think about when I go to the range and practice.
Precision over distance.

No, not if you hit 18 perfect tee shots...
You'll only have to hit 14 perfect fairway shots...:)

Perfect Golf?

I once hit 17 greens in a college tournament qualifier.

I shot 70.

I have hit all 14 fairways several times, and some of these rounds I shot as high as 80.

I have seen rounds of golf that the golfer hit 6 greens and shot in the 60's.

LOWER SCORES.

No pictures on the scorecard! :D

Only if you don't know where to go to achieve both....for you.

Most people want more than they can handle only because they don't know what they can handle or how to go about getting it. A No Compensating is a real good start.

Do short hitters enjoy golf?

honestly, unless i want to spend A LOT of money to play at really nice/long courses i am pretty much a driver then pitch/lob wedge then putt player.

Golf becomes pretty boring. Sometimes i won't even take my driver to some courses and just hit 3 wood or 5 wood to at least give me a lot more variety of shots.

I hit the ball about 270 average, play from the back tees 7000 yds, with guys that out drive me anywhere from 30 to 50yds.

I kick their @sses! That's a lot of fun!!!:D

I played a tournament this weekend shot in the mid 70's both rounds and hit all of 9 greens for both rounds. Thank God for the "tour pitch" and my putter. I got up and down A LOT.

Glad my lesson w/ Brian is coming up Sunday, 'cause I hit it awful.
