Project 1.68 has been not only fruitful but extreme fun!

I have a PROJECT 1.68 primer article that I am submitting for peer review to the scientific community as an observation paper that has to do with the so called 'Parametric Acceleration' I will send it over to Brian this weekend for posting on the website here to give everyone some flavor!

I am beginning to think this PROJECT 1.68 is like the the Yeti.

I keep waiting but nothing showing.

That's what happens when you involve science. To all the parties involved in Project 1.68; I hope you've had an attorney who specializes in intellectual property take a look at the book before it gets published.

I am sure it will be sent for peer review and knowing some of the people involved the science will be accurate. I look forward to it and I believe that it will be here sooner than later.

I bet you'll be waiting a hell of a lot longer for the Yeti to show up. And just out of curiosity why are you waiting for the Yeti?, or is it personal...lol.

Project 1.68

The first "manual" from "The Project" will have 5 Chapters:

----CLUB AND BALL ONLY SECTIONS----

1. Impact and its resultant ball-flight.

2. The bottom of the swing (about two feet on both sides of the ball).

3. The movement and dynamics of the club in the whole swing, with a focus on the downswing.

----BODY SECTION----

4. The Biomechanics of how the body need to move to make those first three chapters come to life with power.

----CLASSIFICATION-----

5. A way to classify the swing, and also to group those in useful "patterns."

Think of it as a better version of things that have been tried before.

It will be brief, and readable.

And just a start.

I'll buy the book, for sure. But you guys started advertising too soon. The Yeti thing is really just people getting fed up waiting and starting to lose interest because up till now there's been too much talk and inuendo and not enough substance. But, hey, at least you guys have and will continue to wean everyone looking for real golfing info off the kooool aid. And for that we should be eternally grateful.

The information is there.

We are just bringing it together in a useable form.

The golf world has been hoodwinked by non-scientfic "science" for too long.

Brian, what will the "reading level" be? Meaning, who is this geared for? The typical player that just wants to get better OR the nontypical "swing guru" that knows all the in's and the out's of everybody's swing on the PGA tour and wants to know the exact amount of degrees you hit down on your 6 iron to hit the ball 183 yards in a 12.3 mph wind in 75 degree weather? Wanna know if I have to get my calculator out or can a 6th grader use this book to get better? Get my drift?

I am truly looking forward to this book, the idea of all the scientific data in a digestible form is both exiting and intriguing.
