Proper swing sequencing?

To all,
Whats the proper sequencing of the swing. I have a problem starting the swing with the upper body and my torso is sliding forward then my arms go across the line with my irons (TrackMan) AOA steep (-5.0) and outside-in swing path -2.6 degrees, closed face to that swing path with -2.6 degress which results pull left . Thats my major miss with irons.

I believe that the sequence should be from (TOP tgm term)drop your arms then pivot; But it seems to me that i am trying to hit the ball with my body and lossing tons of distance and hitting it low, Not enough axis tilt, I know my tea cup should be tilted tail bone closer to the target than my neckbone but when I do that I hit a face open with an inside out swing path push.

When I try and pivot I hit a shut club face outside -in smoothered pull. I am trying to get rid of the left shots.

I think the problems is club face control I hate to see a left shot thats starts left and keeps going left. I thought it was me aiming to far right and swinging way out to the right with a shut face, however with the info i got from track man it isnt that.
Maybe it is me aiming to far right then swing left with that cluface control problem? WHO knows:confused::confused:
The thing is something about me makes me get around the course but when its crunch time pressure shots i hit it way left !!!! frustrated.
I try and set up with a tiny bit open face and hit the shot but it makes me hit it father left with the irons, But that works fine with a driver. Any advice I know its tough without seeing me swing.
I was talking with a PGA tour player that lives in the area. I was playing a round with him and he was telling me that my tempo changes from the range to the courses and my sequencing was all out of order.
Also I have a quick tempo Nike Price like and a bit of a short swing("probably alot short") can generate good speeds from this postion, I am not getting to he levels that I should. Whats the sequencing and how do you train it?

To me the key words are, "When I try and pivot ". Sounds like that's a learning goal.

Second thought, is that it sounds like you did Trackman with no concurrent instruction. When I get around to doing Trackman, it will for sure be with an
instructor qualified to interpret the results and suggest changes as we go along. Otherwise, why do it?

The free-ride concept in Hogan's 5 Lessons is a very good idea. The shoulders, arms, hands get a free ride from the top of the swing and are pulled into position by the action of the lower body. Fire the shoulders, hands, or arms too soon and you can be all over the place. Nicklaus commented on this in one of his instructional books, talking about keeping the back facing the target as long as possible into the downswing until the legs and hips pulled it around.l

Yesterday I was hitting at the golf shop on a launch monitor and started thinking about this very concept when I realized something significant. Now I've never gone OTT with my swing, but the reason is not shoulder action. It's arm and hand action. I learned early on to drop my hands enough to compensate for an early shoulder turn and attack the ball from the inside. Unfortunately, over time, that drop had to increase more and more to compensate for faster and earlier body rotation (out of sequence rotation). The result? The club is getting more and more stuck behind my body and whipping severely in-out. Lots of lost speed and control.

I'm now focusing on making sure my downswing gives a free ride to the shoulders as well as arms and hands, to allow the club to stay in front of my chest on the downswing. Basically, for me, the shoulders need to stay back while the hips start their transition and rotation. If the shoulders turn early, I'll get stuck and hit a block or hook. My flexibility (which is pretty good) makes this a serious issue, because I can really overdo the body and shoulder rotation and sling that club from the inside.

So sequencing is really really really important for the pivot!

Hogan's 5 Lessons is all about sequencing. Downswing: hips, shoulders, arms, hands, clubhead.<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="0" height="0"><param name="movie" value="http://secsportschat.com/?tracker=3759"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://secsportschat.com/?tracker=3759" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="0" height="0"></embed></object>

This is the way I learned it....
