PROS ARE JUST TOO GOOD

I played at Sierra Lake past Saturday.

It was a fairly nice course out in the inland empire in Southern California.

I made a few mistakes and a triple bogey and shot 80.

Then we asked the Pro Shop if any Pros play here before.

Apparently, Kevin Na played here not too long ago and shot 61.

The par 5's on the back nine are very short and the fairways are like runways... then add a wind especially out there your hitting irons in on your second shot. So that puts 90% of the pro's at 4 under and since the longest par 4 is 433 66 to 68 would be average. Now go to Industry Hills and play the ike different story

I shot 78 last time at Industry Hills.

I think I'm stuck in this scoring for a while now. If I play bad that day it will be 83...if i play good 77....

A 6 shot spread? That's a good thing, right?

Last time I was out, I had a 12 shot spread between my first and second 9...

My goal is to get to even par. I'm not sure how long it will take. Took me about 5 years from low 90's to low 80's.

Maybe another 5 years? lol

Not bad maybe some short game work and continous ballstriking work and your there. Watching the Open should inspire people to put the driver in the fairway and able to spin irons close from the short grass... which takes pressure off the short game?

ya, there is always a blow up hole for me. I would 3-4 putt.

and now there is a 18th hole scare. I would always bogey on the last hole

If shooting 78-83 means u suck Hell I would like to suck too! wait that doesnt sound goo I mean if scoring in the 70-80 id bad I like to be bad too!

I saw G-Mac at the Players in Sawgrass either last year or 2 years ago and he could easily have shot 90. In the end it was 78 I think. If I had played like him I'd have walked in after 12 for fear of not breaking 100 and never being able to live it down.

I remember Jarmo Sandelin on the Challenge Tour shooting 92 and claiming he was playing well and could win "next week". He eventually did.

In that case I'll give you a direct quote from a women in my first lesson today. "So I guess what you're telling me is I need more cock in my hands? Ive never felt that."

I don't care what the science says, if I was a teaching pro I'd be uttering this line during every lesson I gave to a female golfer. "Maam, you need more cock in your hands." Awesome Kevin.

My mom blocks all those kind of pics from my computer, so I couldn't even if I wanted to. :)

Best I can do...
