Pull draws, d-plane help needed

I should be able to figure this out myself, but I'm having trouble with shots that start a bit left of the target line and then curve a bit further left. It's even happening with the short irons. Grip is neutral, divots appear to be at the target and reasonable depth. I'm not a flipper. Missing greens left from 150 and in will drive you nuts. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Open the face and swing more left. Sounds like the face is bit closed to the target and the swing path is pretty good minus the downward strike, which pushes the net path to the right of the target.

I was just watching the essential d plane video on the second page again and thought of this post. Watch the video and see if it answers your question. Hint: softconsult is right.
Or should I say left?

Absolutely, Babe!

Almost EVERYONE I have ever seen with what they think, a look like in an "old school" sorta way, is swinging TOO FAR TO THE RIGHT.

Thanks. Hit some balls and played nine with some better results. I've always struggled with swinging far enough left. It's even harder when the face is closing on you. I double checked my grip and set up more open to the target line. Maybe a bit of a bandaid, but helped out today. Have to get this worked out before the season ends.

Any thoughts on whether simply aiming left as to combat swinging too far right is advisable or not? I don't want to get into a bad habit.

My experience is that, if you've already fallen into a pattern of swinging in-to-out, then you can aim left and it's too easy to just exaggerate your natural pattern and hit big push-fades. I could never hit a fade that consistently started left of my target - I always seemed to find a way to swing directly towards my target, but with an open clubface.

I've put a bit of work in for the last few weeks trying to ingrain a more leftwards swing and I think that it's now starting to pay off. To be honest, nothing has worked so well for me as taking real care to line up club and stance left of my target and then picking out an imaginary target maybe 10 - 15 yards further left that I try to swing towards.
