pull hooks

True pull hooks are pretty rare, IMO, a ball that starts left and hooks further left. Leftward path with an even lefter face. Tough to get yourself into that position without a lot or arching of the wrists. A flipped release would usually cause more of a pull fade. I suppose contact on the toe would cause a ball to hook that would have otherwise faded...

What about the old advice of a closed address stance for a draw and an open stance for a fade... and then just swing normally?

How does this advice plot out on Trackman?

Yeah thats what I was going to say. To get a pull hook it's probably a slicer or pull slicer that gets their face too closed or like Eric said hit on the toe. Its probably not a pull hook if its chronic though. It's an in to out swing with a too closed to the path face. Hooks off the planet but is not a "pull" hook.
