I have a question is a push a cousin to the hook? I’m experiencing pushing the ball dead straight to the right and then a hook will sneak in can someone help? I also use Brains twist away as I use to slice the ball but not anymore.

Hmmmm....

You could be arching your left wrist TOO much in the "twistaway" and it can lead to a push.

How well to you get to "Wedding Ring Up"?

Not very good. I don't think I understand exactly what I do beside roll the left forearm through impact.

Yes, who share an "inside-out" clubhead path during impact. Or they both hit the ball while the clubheads are moving toward the right.

Combined with the right amount of clubface closure (square relative to the clubhead path at impact and separation), it creates a push. A greater amount of clubface clousure (open at impact and close at separation), however, leads to a hook.
