Don't TOUR players use them sometimes? I don't have one, I'm trying to learn the piston type dominate arm Golden Bear stroke...works pretty well so far.
Yes, I've seen Tour players at Tour events practice with them. Most of them seem to prefer the good ole chalkline though.

I like the putting arc. I have never been measured but i know i have a great putting stroke and won't go into why i think i do BUT i will say i have no problems with how it works and how my stroke works. So if you like to putt that way yes i'd say it's good.
However i'd like to try out Brian's "Sheriff" as i think that thing is like a putting arc on steroids.

Sorry for the lack of knowledge..What do they do with the chalkline? Iam going to go to THE MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT later this year to check out my first TOUR event so Ill soak in alot then, but I just cant wait. Thanks.
Jim, why do you think it's better? Big difference in $
You probably have a great stroke cause you make alot of putts....pretty good analysis on my part huhYeah..if I did buy one thing for the stroke it would br the "Sheriff"..pretty sweet.
Quote from Brian:
"I have used various things for a putter plane board over the years.
And, the "Putting Arc" is an excellent device.
But!
When you practice your stroke with resistance TO THE INSIDE, you grove a stroke slightly more INSIDE then you intended.
The Sheriff is the FIRST device that evens out the resistance above and below the putter, which is ideal."
